Re-imagining the concept of a music video, through VR.
The ‘Anxious’ VR Experience puts users into a virtual world created around Tangina Stone’s experiences with different forms of anxiety.
In coordination with Microsoft, we worked with talented artist Tangina Stone, discussing her life and experiences to create an engaging visual narrative that makes full use of VR’s immersive nature to invoke different forms of anxiety due to what’s happening around (or to) the user. This is something that the standard music video format just can’t provide.
The goal of the experience was to bring awareness to anxiety and mental health through virtual scenarios. In the experience, users explore different ominous locations relative to Tangina and feel different anxieties like being lost, confused, overwhelmed, blamed, fear, lack of control and even falling.
Debuted at the Tangina’s album launch event at the Microsoft Store on 5th avenue, NYC, the VR experience was a great success!
